Moms for Liberty is coming to Saluda!
Moms for Liberty is a grassroots organization that seeks to unite, educate, and empower parents to defend parental rights and take an active role in decisions affecting children, families, and public education. Founded in 2021, the organization has developed local chapters across the country, including an active network in South Carolina.

A Focus on Engagement
Moms for Liberty South promotes what it describes as the principles of liberty, parental involvement, transparency, and accountability. Through county-based chapters and community outreach, the organization works to inform families about issues that may affect their children and to help citizens participate effectively in local and state government.
The group’s approach is rooted in the idea that decisions affecting children should not be made without meaningful input from parents. Members advocate for open communication between schools and families, clear public access to information, and responsive leadership from those entrusted with public authority.
Recognition in South Carolina
The organization’s growing presence in the state was recognized by the South Carolina House of Representatives in 2023. A House resolution acknowledged the South Carolina chapter of Moms for Liberty, commended its work on behalf of parental involvement and civic engagement, and welcomed members to the State House for “Moms for Liberty Day.”
For many supporters, Moms for Liberty provides a practical avenue for parents and other concerned citizens to become more engaged in the public decisions that shape schools, families, and communities. Its South Carolina chapters continue to encourage individuals to learn about local issues, make their voices heard, and participate in the democratic process.
