If the Intelligence Community worries about them, then so should we…
The 100 pages of “Russia Collusion” documents released by DNI, Tulsi Gabbard, on Friday, do much more than expose possible treasonous actions by President Obama and his top intelligence staff, it also exposes the lies they were telling us about the security of machine voting.
I am in the middle of reading the documents. It is a big story. It may even be the biggest political story of my lifetime.
But put suggestions of treason aside for now.
In the first few pages of the documents there are several statements by the intelligence community that suggest another – entirely separate – hoax on the American People. That hoax is that “voting by machine is secure.”
Central to the narrative of a possible Obama-led Russia Collusion Hoax is that in September, prior to the upcoming November 2016 election, the consensus opinion of all the US Intelligence agencies, was that there had not been, and would probably not be, any manipulation of our voting system by Russia.
My team is analyzing cyber threats to the upcoming
election and, … The brief included a DHS expert on vulnerabilities of the system
and overall risk due to cyber incident. The thrust of the analysis is that there is no indication of a Russian threat to directly manipulate the actual vote count through cyber means.~ to and from intelligence department heads (names redacted), September 2016
and in the same email thread:
(J: POTUS agreed yesterday that our electoral apparatus ((my term)) should be considered as critical infrastructure…)
also in the same thread, a direct mention of vulnerabilty of voting machines:
Secretary Johnson committed DHS to supporting state and local
agencies to secure computer-enabled election infrastructure. The NCCIC
reached out to state and local officials responsible for election
infrastructure to offer our assistance in identifying and remediating
vulnerabilities
An unnamed “Intelligence Analyst” added the following to the thread:
We believe it’s worth noting that in an extremely close race, it is certainly possible that a very targeted cyber attack aimed at manipulating votes could lead to a change to the legitimate results and affect the outcome of the election. As an example, the votes in a swing county in a swing state could potentially be slightly altered, thus resulting in the electoral college votes of a particular state to go toward one particular individual, thus tipping the entire election in their favor. (i.e. in the 2000 election…) …Although this is unlikely, it certainly remains a possibility and one that can’t be discounted – due to the high impact – even with the disjointed nature of US election technology.
After reading only the first eight pages of this report, I knew our government had lied to us about the security of voting machines.
What is Saluda County GOP going to do with this information?
Election integrity was the major issue that caused me to first become directly involved in Republican Party politics in 2021, and it is one of the foremost planks of the Republican Platform. Now that Jay Dunbar, our Vice-Chair for Voter Education is in place and forming a committee to work an all the top issues, I will suggest that we begin to develop a plan of action to get rid of voting machines in SC. This will involve discussion by our Executive Committee, a vote of approval, and a probable Resolution to be submitted to the SCGOP State Executive Committee. Along the way, I will be contacting other County GOP Chairmen in order to grow support for this issue among as many other SC counties as possible.
Anyone who is interested in taking part in these discussions may attend our September meeting, currently scheduled for September 11. Make sure you are subscribed to this website’s email list for updates.
