There are many benefits to County Chairmen working together…

In late April, Mark Weber, Chairman of the Lexington County Republican Party, reached out to me and suggested we meet. Since collaborating with other counties was one of the things I promised during my campaign for Saluda County Chairman, I was delighted to hear from Mark. He is in his second term, whereas, I am a newbie.
Since Saluda and Lexington share so many common interests – not to mention several elected officials – both Mark and I understand that it can be a great advantage for chairmen of adjacent county parties to work closely together.
Whether it is collaborating during elections, or joining together for candidate forums, boat parades!, and other events, it can be smarter, more efficient, and more fun to work across county lines with like-minded Republicans.
Mark and I discussed our goals for their parties, as well as the importance of strong grassroots involvement by Republicans everywhere to continue and grow the momentum of the “America First” movement.
Most Republican voters – even the most faithful of them – are not familiar with the official party structure of the Republican Party. On the local level are many volunteers working to help elect the type representation that best reflects the views of grassroots Republicans. Mark and I are only two of them.
