At the October 27 meeting of the Saluda County Republican Party, a resolution will be introduced supporting closed primaries in South Carolina:
If a majority of the GOP Executive Committee Members vote to support this resolution, it will be presented to the SCGOP Resolutions Committee for a vote by the full State Executive Committee. Other county GOP organizations have submitted similar resolutions, but there is strength in numbers.
Besides presenting this to the SCGOP, it will also be submitted to the Saluda Legislative Delegation, as well as to Governor McMaster.
