Last Thursday, August 7, having recently posted Regina Sanders’ article on Rom Reddy of DogeSC, I drove to Myrtle Beach to attend his launch event for DogeSC. Since I am new as a County Chairman, I try to attend events I think would be of interest to Saluda Republicans, and I prefer doing so in person if possible. I always learn something and meet someone worth knowing.
The Doge rollout was well worth my driving time. The speakers were Rom Reddy and David Pascoe, a Democrat-turned-Republican, SC Solicitor who is likely to run for SC Attorney General in 2026. Pascoe is aligning himself with the principles of DOGE SC, and says he will be happy to come speak to us in Saluda. I will get that scheduled!
Rom Reddy laid out his background concerns and his plan for DogeSC. The brochure below outlines the basics:
Rom Reddy Interview with Fits News
You will be hearing more about DogeSC, and I promise an opportunity to hear about it in person with plenty of opportunity to ask questions of your own. This is a private initiative is not part of SC government or the SCGOP, but certainly touches on many issues of interest to Saluda County.
