Police say a shooting outside Eden Prairie High School’s football stadium during Friday night’s homecoming game was likely related to Somali gangs.
After police broke up a large altercation near the stadium, gunfire erupted in a nearby parking lot, injuring two St. Paul teenagers, ages 17 and 18. Both were hospitalized; the 18-year-old was released Saturday, while the 17-year-old remained hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
No arrests had been made, and police said both victims were known to law enforcement.
