Saluda County native and longtime youth coach, Bradley Gantt, is announcing his campaign for Saluda County Council, District 3, bringing 25 years of manufacturing experience, a strong background in organization and quality assurance, and a deep love for the community he calls home.

Roots in Saluda
Bradley was born in Lexington County and has been raised in Saluda by his mother and stepfather since the age of four, giving him a lifelong connection to the people and values of this community. He graduated from Batesburg-Leesville High School in 1998 and has lived and worked in the area ever since.
Family and Community
Bradley and his wife, Jennifer Rodgers, of Saluda, have built their life here together; Jennifer is both his best friend and the love of his life. They are the proud parents of five children—Aydan (21), Cooper (18), Tyler (16), McKenzie (13), and Lynslee (11). All have been deeply involved in Saluda Recreation, where Bradley has coached every sport his children played, always striving to be a positive influence on every child he coached.
In 2015, Bradley’s family lost everything in a middle-of-the-night house fire, and before the sun came up, neighbors and friends had already gathered clothing and basic necessities for them. That experience cemented his belief that Saluda’s greatest strength is its people and deepened his commitment to serve the community that rallied around his family.
Work Experience and Qualifications
For the past 25 years, Bradley has worked in manufacturing, developing a strong background in organization and quality assurance that he believes will serve Saluda County well in his service as Councilman. He understands the importance of hard work, efficiency, and accountability, and he wants to bring that same approach to county government.
A Vision for Saluda County Council
Bradley is running for County Council to promote transparency, responsible growth, and a closer relationship between Council and the citizens of District 3. He supports recent efforts to increase public input—such as the new Public Comment period at Council meetings—and wants to build on that momentum with a stronger online presence and more ways for citizens to be heard. He strongly commends Council for its new “Saluda Unplugged” podcast.
Gantt believes responsible growth means welcoming opportunity while safeguarding Saluda’s character, rural heritage, and quality of life.
To keep communication open, Bradley pledges to work with the Saluda GOP to hold periodic town halls in District 3 so that citizens can ask questions, share concerns, and help shape the direction of county policy.
Core Priorities
Bradley’s life is grounded in three simple priorities: family, hard work, and love of home.
He is running for Saluda County Council, District 3, to make sure county government reflects those same values—transparent in its decisions, careful in its growth, and always focused on serving the people of Saluda
