We are looking for students at Saluda High School who may be interested in starting a Turning Point USA Club America program.
Club America is a student-led initiative intended to give high-school students an opportunity to learn about civic engagement, leadership, free markets, individual liberty, and the values that have shaped America. It can provide students with a constructive setting to discuss current issues, develop organizational and public-speaking skills, plan activities, and connect with other young people who are interested in becoming informed and active citizens.
Starting a school-based club requires motivated student leadership. For that reason, we are asking parents, grandparents, teachers, neighbors, church members, and community friends to help us identify Saluda High School students who may be interested in taking the lead.
We are especially interested in students who are:
- Interested in government, history, current events, or public policy
- Comfortable sharing ideas respectfully and listening to differing viewpoints
- Looking for leadership and service opportunities
- Interested in organizing events, meetings, or student activities
- Willing to help establish a positive, student-led presence at their school

At this stage, we simply want to hear from interested students and families, answer questions, and determine whether there is enough student interest to begin the process of organizing a Club America chapter.
A strong student organization begins with one or two young people willing to step forward. Please help us spread the word and encourage interested Saluda High School students to get in touch.
