The Saluda County Republican Party will host State Senator Mike Reichenbach, Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor, as the featured speaker at its meeting on Monday, April 27, at 6:00 p.m. in the Saluda Presbyterian Church Social Hall, 103 West Highland Avenue, Saluda. This event gives Saluda County Republicans a chance to hear directly from one of the most dynamic conservative leaders emerging on the statewide stage.
Senator Reichenbach currently represents Senate District 31, which includes Florence and Darlington Counties, after winning a special election in 2022 to fill the seat of the late Senator Hugh Leatherman and then securing a full term in 2024. Since arriving in Columbia, he has built a reputation as a solid conservative who stands for the sanctity of life, the Second Amendment, traditional values, and common-sense reforms that support families, law enforcement, and small businesses.
A successful businessman, Reichenbach owns automobile dealerships in the Florence area and brings decades of private-sector experience to his public service. He previously served as a sworn law enforcement officer with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, giving him firsthand experience fighting crime and supporting public safety. He has also invested heavily in his community, serving on local boards and supporting charitable causes, including donating his Senate salary to charity.
Reichenbach is running for Lieutenant Governor on a ticket with Attorney General Alan Wilson, offering what they describe as a “new generation of conservative leadership” for South Carolina. Their platform emphasizes protecting life, defending constitutional freedoms, reforming the judicial system, holding government accountable, improving infrastructure, and making South Carolina more affordable for working families and small businesses.

At the Monday, April 27 meeting of the Saluda County Republican Party, Senator Reichenbach is expected to share his personal story, his conservative principles, and his vision for the future of our state, as well as take questions from local Republican voters.
Saluda County Republicans and guests are strongly encouraged to attend, bring friends and neighbors, and help introduce Senator Reichenbach to more voters across our county who want to know more about a possible SC Lieutenant Governor.
